May 20, 2025: The New York Times is on it. One juicy detail in a lengthy story breaking down the many compelling aspects of the relationship is journalist Katherine Rosman’s assertion that Hudson has told “at least one person” that the pair are engaged.
May 16, 2025: Belichick doesn’t dodge questions about his relationship with Hudson during his appearance on the Pivot Podcast. When asked about fan and media concerns that his relationship with Hudson might serve as a “distraction” from football, Belichick suggested the opposite is true.
“I stay focused on football, and some of the other opportunities that come along, you know, Jordon looks at those and can dig into them a bit deeper,” he said. “But really, what she does helps me spend my time on football and that’s what's important to me.”
Specifically, Belichick said Hudson “gives guidance” and helps organize his schedule outside of football. As he was writing his book, Belichick said, Hudson “looked at it from a business perspective” and warned him when things were becoming too “technical.”
Finally, the podcast hosts asked Belichick about Hudson’s infamous beach yoga post. Regarding how it came to be, he replied, “Tryin’ to stay young.”
May 11, 2025: Hudson comes in third at the 2025 Miss Maine USA pageant, though she won the pageant’s style award earlier in the competition. According to multiple publications, Belichick was supporting his girlfriend from the audience.
“I hope those watching this find the strength to push through whatever it is and embody that hate never wins,” she reportedly told the audience before the winner was crowned, per People.
May 10, 2025: Belichick is reportedly spotted in the crowd as Hudson competes in the 2025 Miss Maine USA pageant at the Holiday Inn in downtown Portland.
May 9, 2025: UNC denies “false reports” that Hudson was banned from their football facilities. “While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina football facilities,” an athletic department spokesperson said in a statement, per The Athletic. “Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina football and the university.”
This comes after sportswriter and media personality Pablo Torre reported, during an episode of his podcast, Pablo Torre Finds Out, that she had been barred. Following UNC’s statement, Torre stood by the initial reporting, claiming the information shared “came from the highest levels of the football program.”
May 6, 2025: Belichick's book The Art of Winning: Lessons from a Life in Football includes a shoutout to Jordan Hudson. “Thank you to my idea mill and creative muse, Jordon Hudson,” Belichick writes in the acknowledgements, per Page Six.

That same day, Page Six reports that Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law Jennifer Schmitt took a swipe at Hudson in the comments section of the Dudes on Dudes podcast by former New England Patriots players Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski.

April 27, 2025: Broadcast journalist Tony Dokoupil describes Hudson as a “constant presence” during his interview with Belichick for CBS News Sunday Morning. During the viral interview, Hudson interrupts a question about how the couple met, responding, “We’re not talking about this.”

Hudson later writes on Instagram, “The evening was saturated with all of my favourite things: friendship, education, philanthropy, glamour, beet salad, Billy, dance-worthy music, ornithological & oceanic exhibits. We created so many great memories together while supporting a great cause; my heart is filled to the brim!!!”
October 31, 2024: They dress as a fisherman and a mermaid for Halloween.
June 2024: It’s official! People confirms that the two have been dating for over a year.
May 2024: At The Roast of Tom Brady, Belichick catches a few strays about his relationship, with Brady quipping, “When somebody asked me which ring was my favorite, I used to say, ‘The next one.’ Now that I’m retired, my favorite is that Ring camera that caught Coach Belichick slinking out of that poor girl’s house at 6 a.m. a few months ago,” per People.
September 2023: People reports that Belichick and entrepreneur Linda Holliday have ended their 16-year relationship. Per People’s source, the couple had been “pretty separate for a while.” As for the cause of the breakup, the insider said that the relationship had simply “run its course.”
