Since Chemena Kamali took the reins at Chloé in 2023, the boho trend has been back on the fashion world’s radar. Loose floral frocks, billowy lace tops, and slouchy boots—the early-aughts uniform of stars like Sienna Miller and Nicole Richie—have entered the fashion zeitgeist once again.

Free-spirited and largely inspired by music, artistic expression, and nature, historically the boho trend gained popularity with the musicians of the ’60s and ’70s (think Stevie Knicks and Joni Mitchell). When it celebrated a revival during the 2000s, it ushered in a new era of festival style—complete with flower crowns.
