After arriving with then boyfriend Shawn Mendes last year, Camila Cabello rode solo to the first Monday in May and looked absolutely flawless while doing it. The Familia singer wore a white gown and soft, spring-inspired makeup. It’s a grand departure from last year, when the star wore a sequined purple two-piece skirt set courtesy of Michael Kors.

It seems like Cabello is finally in a good place after pouring her heart and soul into her latest album, which debuted April 8 with a mix of personal ballads concerning her breakup and mental health struggles. She opened up ahead of The Met Gala 2022 on her Instagram, writing that her single “Bam Bam” is about learning to love again, potentially referring to her split with Mendes: “These songs in Spanish have important life messages about how life can break your heart, but we can also dance and sing and move our bodies through it,” the 25-year-old singer wrote. “Life has its up and downs; but you will laugh again and you will love again.”
No word yet on if she ran into Shawn inside.
