We Need to Talk About Céline Dion’s Haute Couture Fashion Week Outfits

No one does Haute Couture Fashion Week like Céline Dion. She lives, she breathes the fashion—stopping to pose, giving multiple angles to onlookers, and just having the best goddamn time. (Fashion doesn't always have to be serious, after all.)

Of all the celebrities who flock to Paris for the highest of the high-end fashion shows, Dion has become a fan favorite. She cheers on the designers. She weeps at the sight of beautiful gowns. And she commits to her lewks.

She followed it up with an allover printed bodysuit with an oversized blazer bearing a matching graphic, fresh off the Off-White runway. (Truly—Gigi Hadid had modeled it at the brand's spring 2020 show the week before.)

Then it came time to attend the shows. Dion started off at Miu Miu, taking in its cruise 2020 collection in a strapless ruched fuchsia gown with a big black bow.

She had some free time before the proper couture runways took place, so she headed out to explore Paris—wearing couture, naturally. Her pick? A Ronald van der Kemp dress with a black-and-white tuxedo jacket top and frilly yellow miniskirt, from spring 2017, which she accessorized with mismatched Jimmy Choos.

Her first official Haute Couture Fashion Week event was Schiaparelli, which would be presenting its first collection under Daniel Roseberry's creative direction. Dion had a custom look made by Roseberry—a black halter-necked dress with a pleated skirt and matching elbow-length gloves. She finished it off with a headpiece by Stephen Jones, milliner to the stars, and sunglasses by Féroce.

Next up? Iris van Herpen, the Dutch designer known for her imaginative 3-D-printed gowns. Dion paid homage to her by wearing one of the pieces from her spring 2019 couture collection, a red and black trompe l'oeil dress.

Dion continued the parade of beautiful, larger-than-life outfits at Alexandre Vauthier in an ivory off-the-shoulder minidress with oversized balloon sleeves that acted as trains.

As her time in Paris drew to a close, the singer planned to leave the city in style—and with a cheeky sense of humor. She stepped out of her hotel wearing a mini, gray plaid split-sleeve blazer, and T-shirt reading "I [heart] Paris Hilton" on it.

Later in the day, she changed into a white feathery minidress from Valentino's Resort 2020 collection to the house's couture show before bidding au revoir to the city—at least for a while.

In conclusion: Brands, please invite Dion to any and every event you're hosting. Thanks in advance.
