Even if you didn’t know Connor Storrie’s name last year, you sure do now. The 25-year-old Heated Rivalry star skyrocketed to international fame since the queer hockey romance first premiered on Crave and HBO Max on November 28, 2025. Now he’s set to make his Saturday Night Live hosting debut exactly three months later.
It’s hard to put into words how famous Storrie and his Heated Rivalry costar Hudson Williams have become since their trip to the cottage, but the fervor has been likened to Beatlemania for a reason. Both actors were met with swarms of fans when they made their late-night debuts January 2026, with Seth Meyers recently revealing he received more personal ticket requests for Storrie’s Late Night taping than “anyone outside of Taylor Swift.”
In fact, it was impossible for fans to score standby tickets for that show, which doesn’t bode well for fans hoping to see his Saturday Night Live debut. Here’s everything we know about his first appearance on the variety show, including the musical guest, possible cameos, and how to watch at home or in person (should tickets be made available to the public, as usual).
Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams opens up about the cottage scenes that make him cry, relating to Shane Hollander over sudden fame, and witnessing a darker variation of the Scott Hunter kiss.

When will Connor Storrie host Saturday Night Live?
NBC announced that Connor Storrie will make his hosting debut on February 28, 2026. “I am literally the luckiest person in the world,” the Texas-born actor wrote in an Instagram Stories post about the announcement.
Heated Rivalry fans would rightfully argue that the SNL writers are the lucky ones. After all, they will surely have a field day with Storrie, who only had three weeks to learn Russian and master Ilya Rozaov’s accent before the series went into production. Certainly he’ll be able to handle whatever SNL throws at him.

Williams commented on NBC’s Instagram post, writing, “MY BABY BOY ON SNL WHOOOOOO!!!!” Meanwhile, the author of the Heated Rivalry romance novel, Rachel Reid, commented, “Nothing has ever made me happier ❤️.”
Who is the musical guest?
According to the announcement, the folk-rock band Mumford & Sons will serve as the musical guest. This will mark the fourth appearance for the band, who are best known for their songs “Little Lion Man,” “I Will Wait,” and “The Cave.”
How to watch Saturday Night Live at home
Saturday Night Live airs live at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC and can be streamed on Peacock. You can also stream the episode with a DirecTV or FuboTV subscription, both of which offer free trials.
How to get free tickets to Connor Storrie’s Saturday Night Live debut
There are two ways to get free tickets for SNL, according to the NBC website. The first is through their email lottery system, though you are not able to request tickets to a specific show. If you’d like to try your luck, email your full name, email address, and the reason you’d like to attend to [email protected]. You must be 16 years or older to qualify.
The second way to get tickets is by booking a standby reservation the Thursday before the show, which puts you on the waitlist for an available spot. If NBC offers standby tickets for Connor Storrie’s appearance, the reservation link will go live at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday, February 26.
You can request up to four tickets to either the 8 p.m. dress rehearsal or the 11:30 p.m. live show. Be prepared to provide your full name, email address, and the number of people in your party. You’ll recieve a confirmation email with your reservation if there’s capacity.
If you do receive standby tickets (jealous), you can read more details about the process here.
What do we know about Connor Storrie’s sketches and opening monologue?
We won’t know anything about that until the show airs live. Until then, you can watch SNL’s first take on Heated Rivalry: a Harry Potter parody called Heated Wizardry. Before you ask, the rivals aren’t Harry and Draco…
You don't have to ship Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy to see their point.

Will Hudson Williams make a cameo?
Celebrity cameos are very common on Saturday Night Live, especially when the host has famous costars. Very recently, Stranger Things stars Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin took part in a pretaped sketch for Finn Wolfhard’s first hosting gig.
While Williams could very well make an appearance, nothing has been confirmed. In fact, Williams recently revealed that he and Storrie make it a point to attend separate events so they don’t pigeonhole themselves as a unit.
“We want to be different artists. We don’t want to be the Olsen twins,” Williams told Heated Rivalry’s Sophie Nélisse in a Wonderland interview published in January 2026. “As much as we love each other, our friendship doesn’t need to be public. [Showrunner Jacob Tierney] has that quote: ‘Shane and Ilya are for the public. Connor and Hudson are for themselves.’ And that’s how we feel. People want to see us front row together all the time, but we actively avoid that, because it starts to feel like branding.”
He continued, “If you’re always seen together, you become attached at the hip. I FaceTime him whenever I’m free. But if we’re offered the same fashion shows, we’re like, ‘Which one are you going to? Okay, I’ll go to a different one.’ We’re stubborn, selfish artists who want to be our own people. We’re like, ‘I love you. I don’t want to do everything with you.’”
Even so, the pair recently reunited in Italy to help carry the Olympic Flame ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympics, and Williams included Storrie in his Instagram roundup of his Italian adventures.
The Heated Rivalry stars are currently living Shane Hollander’s and Ilya Rozanov’s best lives.
What about François Arnaud and other Heated Rivalry actors?
While Williams and Storrie have purposefully avoided each other at fashion shows, Storrie recently sat with Heated Rivalry costars François Arnaud and Robbie G.K. at Saint Laurant’s fall 2026 menswear show in Paris.
Personally, I hope we get cameos from as many members of the HR cast and crew as possible, including showrunner Jacob Tierney and Game Changers series author Rachel Reid.
