Hailey Bieber isn’t going to wait for rumors to spread before nipping them in the bud.

On November 5, Bieber took to Instagram to slam Us Weekly for reportedly planning to run a story claiming she is pregnant after two years of marriage to Justin Bieber

“Since I know you guys were about to break your lil story @usweekly I’m not pregnant,” she wrote in her post. “So please stop writing false stories from your ‘sources’ and focus on what’s important aka the election.”

The Biebers opened up significantly about their marriage and evolving relationship in a unique Facebook Watch series, The Biebers on Watch. Hailey also further discussed starting a family with her husband with Vogue Italia in October.

“The strange thing is that I’ve always wanted to have children early, but now that I'm married, I feel less of an urge,” the 23-year-old model shared, per Seventeen. “I am an ambitious girl with many projects. It will happen, but not now.”

During an interview with Vogue, Justin shed light on their choice not to have sex before marriage. “[God] doesn’t ask us not to have sex for him because he wants rules and stuff,” he explained in February 2019. “He’s like, ‘I’m trying to protect you from hurt and pain.’ I think sex can cause a lot of pain. Sometimes people have sex because they don’t feel good enough. Because they lack self-worth. Women do that, and guys do that. I wanted to rededicate myself to God in that way because I really felt it was better for the condition of my soul.”

As for Hailey Bieber, she said, “I prayed to feel peace about the decision, and that’s where I landed, I love him very much. I have loved him for a long time.”
