It’s been a busy start to the new year for Hailey Bieber and to get the job done, the 29-year-old just brought back last year’s biggest nail trend. So far, Bieber has crammed mom duties, a steamy Valentine’s Day campaign launch, and a global expansion of Rhode into the first full week of 2026—and one minimalist manicure has seen her through it all: soap nails.

On January 7, Victoria’s Secret kicked off its “A Very VS Valentine’s” campaign by sharing an image of Bieber that sparked some deja vu. Posing Bieber in the bottom drawer of a bureau, the brand re-created an image of Gisele Bündchen in the same pose from its 2001 “Think Pink” fragrance campaign. In both images, Bieber and Bündchen are seen painting their toes with a bottle of light pink nail polish. To celebrate the launch, Bieber shared a spicy BTS shot showing off a matching soap manicure.

While experts have predicted a maximalist revival for beauty in 2026 (Bieber backed them up with some wild animal-print mani-pedis recently), minimalistic soap nails are stealing the spotlight back. Lindsay Lohan shared a similar light pink, ultra-glossy manicure this week. The trend was celebrity-loved in 2025 for its versatility. It’s polished and elegant enough for red-carpet events but simple enough for everyday wear.

Unconvinced? Consider Bieber’s other posts this week—which are a total vibe switch from her sultry boudoir shoot. Today she posted a cozy carousel from her bed and a “butter color kitchen" with the same soap nails and her new off-duty lob on full display.

Earlier this week, Bieber also took her subtle almond-shaped mani poolside and to the office. She shared a new year photo dump featuring office ’fits, a divisive bathing suit trend, self-care nights, and glimpses of her one-year-old son, Jack. Add PJs, strappy monokinis, and chunky sweaters to the soap manicure look-book—it looks right at home in every shot.
