It’s tough to keep track of Jacob Elordi’s relationship status with Olivia Jade Giannulli. We’re here to help.
While Elordi was rumored to be dating Euphoria costar Zendaya in late 2019 following his split from Kissing Booth costar Joey King in 2018, he moved on from showmances in the 2020s, starting with a year-long, highly publicized relationship with Kaia Gerber that ended in November 2021. But just one month after his split from Cindy Crawford’s daughter, Elordi was spotted grabbing coffee with another Hollywood nepo baby: Lori Loughlin’s daughter Olivia Jade Giannulli, otherwise known as the face of the 2019 college admissions scandal. And while the 28-year-old Frankenstein actor and the 26-year-old YouTuber appear to be together as of January 2026, their four-year relationship hasn’t been exactly linear. Here’s their complete timeline with the most recent updates up top…at least, what we’ve been able to piece together.
January 14, 2026: New year, same on-and-off relationship. After being photographed together in NYC, Giannulli and Elordi are both spotted at another Frankenstein screening, per People. Here we go again!
October 28, 2025: A source tells People that Elordi and Giannulli’s relationship is “fully over” after trying again in September, adding, “They are not getting back together.”
September 8, 2025: Following a fresh round of breakup reports, Giannulli is spotted attending the premiere of Frankenstein at the Toronto International Film Festival. Elordi even held her train as they walked into the screening, which may have been their most public display or romance to date. You can see People’s video here.
August 24, 2025: In a YouTube vlog, Giannulli reveals she’s moving to New York and discusses using therapy “as a tool to fight a lot of nerves and uncomfortable changes.”
August 7, 2025: People reports that Elordi and Giannulli have split. “Things have been rocky between them all summer,” a source told Us Weekly. “Olivia moved to Paris to get away and have a fresh start for a bit. She needed a change of scenery.”
September 28, 2024: Elordi is spotted on a Giannulli family vacation in Italy!
September 16, 2024: Giannulli wraps her arms around Elordi outside her sister’s birthday party.
January 18, 2024: Amid another bout of breakup rumors, TMZ reports that Giannulli was “spotted near Jacob’s dressing room” during his hosting stint on Saturday Night Live.
November 2023: Elordi deftly shuts down relationship questions during his GQ cover interview, adding, “but I appreciate you giving me the space.”
July 25, 2023: A source tells People the pair are “getting serious” and are a “really cute couple,” revealing they even took a trip to Idaho with Giannulli’s parents over the summer.
June 2023: Following a series of park spotings, outings, and low-key PDA moments here and there, as well as breakup and reconciliation rumors, the pair are spotted vacationing in Italy.
August 19, 2022: Never mind! Us Weekly claims the pair have “split,” though the source’s quotes imply the relationship itself was not that deep. The source said Giannulli was “single and having fun” while Elordi was “not looking for a serious relationship at the moment.” The source also said the pair “hung out earlier this summer” but were “not dating.”
May 24, 2022: Us Weekly declares the pair are “officially dating.”
May 11, 2022: A month after his park outing with model Bianca Finch, he’s back at a Los Angeles park with Jade and their respective dogs.
March 20, 2022: Elordi is seen enjoying a day in the park with model Bianca Finch, sparking new relationship rumors.
December 21, 2021: Elordi and Giannulli’s relationship status is unclear, with one source telling People the pair are “casually dating,” while another says they’re “not dating” at all. Meanwhile, a source told Us Weekly that they were feeling each other out after previous breakups. “They both got out of relationships recently so they’re not rushing into anything serious,” the insider said. “So far it’s going well and there’s sparks between them.”
December 19, 2021: Dressed in casual clothes and comfortable shoes, Elordi and Giannulli are photographed grabbing coffee and walking Elordi’s dog in Silver Lake, a neighborhood in Los Angeles. Based on Giannulli’s sweat set and slippers, we can’t imagine this is their first time linking up.
She also opened up about some of the film’s sexier scenes—including one that made her “weak at the knees.”
