Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are one of the most famous celebrity couples in Hollywood. The pop singer and the 7th Heaven actor first got together in 2007 and eventually tied the knot in October 2012. They have two sons together: Silas, who was born in 2015, and Phineas, who was born in 2020.
But things haven’t always been perfect. Back in 2019 cameras caught Timberlake holding hands with actor Alisha Wainwright (the two were filming a movie together). According to the Sun, Wainwright had her hands on Timberlake’s knee as well. But multiple sources told E! News at the time that it was an innocent incident and Biel and Timberlake’s marriage is fine.

October 2024: After pleading guilty to a reduced charge in September, Timberlake is apparently still working to make it up to Biel. Between tour stops, says a source, Timberlake does “everything he can” for the family. The source told People that the couple has “been very busy working and just focus on family time when they’re off.”
“They’ve been married for a long time,” adds the source. “They have to work on their marriage like most couples. Being working parents is never easy.”
June 2024: After Timberlake is arrested in Sag Harbor for driving under the influence (“this is gonna ruin the tour”), reports emerge that Biel is, understandably and predictably, pissed. But she says nothing and continues to film her project The Better Sister in New York City.
Sources told Us Weekly that the 7th Heaven alum was “really worried” about the singer when she learned of the arrest. “Jessica is extremely upset,” the source said. “She was shocked to hear the news and had no idea as she was working.”

November 2023: Timberlake and Biel present a united front at the premiere of Timberlake’s animated film Trolls Band Together.
October 2023: Timberlake’s ex, Britney Spears, releases her tell-all memoir, The Woman in Me. In the candid book, Spears reveals that Timberlake encouraged her to get an abortion that she did not want following a surprise pregnancy. She also alleges that Timberlake cheated on her, and that he left her high and dry after their breakup, insinuating to the press that she had broken his heart by cheating on him (she admits to making out with her choreographer, Wade Robson, during the relationship).
On Instagram, Timberlake’s comments are swarmed by angry Britney fans. Several outlets report that Spears’s revelations have taken their toll on the singer’s relationship with Biel; however, neither of them addresses Spears’s memoir publicly. Shortly after the book was released, the couple was photographed vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, where they appeared to be waiting out the backlash.
August 2023: Timberlake and Biel list their Nashville-area property for $10 million.
Summer 2022: Biel and Timberlake reaffirmed their love for each other with a vow renewal in Italy, 10 years after they first said “I do” in 2012. Awwww! On her Instagram Stories in October, Biel shared some behind-the-scenes pictures from the romantic event. “From our vow renewal this summer—in Italy where it all went down,” she wrote over one photo.

January 2022: Biel and Timberlake list their Tribeca penthouse apartment for $21 million.

July 2020: Timberlake and Biel reportedly welcomed their second child in July, according to the Daily Mail. While the news was not publicly confirmed by the couple at the time, sources say that they kept Biel’s pregnancy top secret for months and that she, Timberlake, and their son, Silas Randall Timberlake, have been spending quarantine away from LA.
Some believe Timberlake hinted at the pregnancy back in May in a Mother’s Day tribute to Biel in which they wear “Papa Bear” and “Mama Bear” robes.

After Timberlake's public apology, sources tell People that Biel “is standing by” her husband. “Obviously Justin drank too much this time, but Jessica believes he didn’t cheat on her,” the source continued. “What’s most important to her in life is her family and being the best mom to Silas. She’ll never break up her family over something like this.”
November 2019: The internet breaks after photos of Timberlake seemingly getting cozy with actor Alisha Wainwright emerge. However, multiple sources contest the New Orleans hangout, which included other cast and crew members from the film they’re working on, was innocent. “There is absolutely nothing going on between them…. They were out with all the cast, crew, makeup artists, and everyone was just hanging out in a social setting,” an insider tells E! News. “They are just working together. No validity to any other rumor other than that they are filming together.”
A second source corroborated this to E!, saying Timberlake and Wainwright’s relationship is “innocent.” ”They’re filming a movie together and it was a group of people hanging out,” the source added. “There is nothing going on between them.”
A report published on Monday, November 25, on E! outlines how Biel is reportedly dealing with the situation and what’s next for the couple. “They are downplaying everything and trying to laugh it off as nothing. But it was definitely inappropriate and something that would make any wife uncomfortable,” the source says. “He had too much to drink and got carried away.” That being said, this insider assures fans Biel and Timberlake are “going to move on from this.”
Adds a source, “Their marriage will survive. He feels guilty and will make it up to her. She is very good to him and he knows how lucky he is. He says it was not a big deal, they were all hanging out together, and that’s the end of the story."
