While we were having normal Sunday nights, sitting in front of our televisions and dreading Monday, Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian had a little date night among other celebrities.
On Sunday, April 24, Kim and Pete, a.k.a. the couple of the moment (the couple of the century is Bennifer, obviously), attended the 2022 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor ceremony at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Davidson attended the ceremony to support friend and fellow comedian Jon Stewart, who was awarded the 23rd Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
The couple were not photographed on a red carpet of any kind, but they were captured watching the ceremony intently, side by side. Kim wore a black sequined ensemble with a boat neck and her hair pulled back in a tight updo, while Pete wore a black suit.
Other celebrities in attendance at the Kennedy Center on Sunday night included Steve Carell, Samantha Bee, Ed Helms, and Jimmy Kimmel. Kardashian and Davidson were not the only unexpected celebrity couple of the past couple years in attendance: New parents John Mulaney and Olivia Munn were also at the event.
Onstage, Davidson, who was possibly wearing Skims, spoke about honoree Stewart. “Who couldn't love this guy? Probably the most controversial thing he's done is being friends with me,” he said, per People. “Is Jon really my friend? I don't know if we're really friends or if this is a Make-a-Wish–type thing.”
Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson were first linked in October 2021 after she hosted Saturday Night Live, on which Davidson stars. After keeping it on the down low for the first several months, Kim and Pete are going full speed ahead as a celeb couple. Next stop…a Vogue cover?
