Another day, another Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson update. Will we ever rest? At least this update is not about a new Kim tattoo.
The latest news is that the two interacted at the 2021 Met Gala on September 13, 2021, just under a month before Kardashian hosted Saturday Night Live where they seemingly connected. While it has been assumed that the Kim and Pete saga began when she hosted SNL on October 9, 2021, it seems like the two had established some sort of connection a few weeks before that.
In the season premiere of Hulu's The Kardashians, Kardashian says that Davidson helped calm the anxiety she had about hosting the long-running sketch comedy series.
“I ran into Pete Davidson at the Met and I was like, ‘I am so scared. I don’t know what I signed up for,’” she says, per Page Six. “And he’s like, ‘Can you read cue cards? You’re good. You’re good.’”

In her SNL episode, Kardasian and Davidson shared a kiss in a Jasmine and Aladdin sketch. In the weeks following the SNL episode, rumors of their relationship started spreading. We watched their relationship unfold throughout the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022, and here we are, still talking about it.
After six months of dating (time is a flat circle!), Kardashian and Davidson attended a red carpet as a couple at the premiere of The Kardashians in early April (though Davidson didn't walk the carpet, the couple were spotted holding hands behind the scenes). In an April 6 ABC News special, she shared some vague details about her relationship with Davidson.
“I mean, I am a, like, relationship kind of girl, for sure,” Kardashian told host Robin Roberts. “And I wouldn’t be with someone if I didn’t plan on spending a lot of my time with them. Obviously, I wanna take my time, but I’m very happy and very content, and it’s such a good feeling just to be at peace.”
