As always, the season’s biggest New York Fashion Week street-style trends are packed with shopping inspiration. The fall-winter 2026 shows are still going, but I’m not waiting around to bring you the fresh styling ideas my fellow editors and I have noticed everywhere. In Manhattan (and occasionally Brooklyn), the scene’s celebrities, editors, stylists, and influencers have put their own stamp on 2026’s hottest trends. The best news? It’s all genuinely wearable—and up for grabs starting at just $10. Shop my favorite Fashion Week finds below, while they’re still ahead of the curve.

1. Pops of red
After a few years away from the spotlight, one of the fashion crowd’s favorite styling tricks is so back: the easy, eye-catching pop of red. It’s basically a permission slip to keep the rest of your look low-key, and it works best against a backdrop of blacks, grays, creams, and blues. Turn one piece—socks, scarves, bags, sunglasses, you name it—into a red focal point, and you’ll look like an editor on her way to a show.
Styling hack: If you’re feeling bold, pile on the color to make it a bigger part of your outfit; try crimson tights with coordinating shoes, or carry a cherry-colored bag while wearing matching gloves.
2. Exotic outerwear
So far during New York Fashion Week, it’s been impossible to attend a single show without seeing someone in a leopard-print coat. (I’ve also spotted other exotic skins like zebra and tiger, plus a ton of extra-shaggy faux fur for good measure.) Winter’s not over yet, but everyone is clearly ready to move on from the black overcoats we’ve been wearing since October. Plus, with spring on the way, so many faux-leopard layers are more affordable than ever.
Styling hack: Drape your coat of choice over another jacket (say, a blazer or a barn jacket) and let yourself get creative with buttoning and collar placement for an ensemble that feels even more elevated.
3. Pointed toes
My fellow editors and I have spotted a ton of loafers and chisel-toe boots among the showgoers (told you!), but perhaps the biggest shoe trend this season is knife-sharp toes. Sleek heels, easy booties, Western pairs, slouchy suede boots—imagine a cold-weather silhouette, and we’ve probably seen it over the past few days. And luckily enough, you don’t need to spend much more than $50 to buy in.
Styling hack: Don’t stow away your boots at the first sign of spring. These picks look just as good with roomy trousers and oversized coats now as they will with shorts and a paper-thin long-sleeve top come May.
4. Scarves and shawls
I can practically feel you rolling your eyes at the idea of scarves being a winter trend, but hear me out! The real freshness here is in the styling. Fashion Week’s most stylish guests are wrapping and tying their accessories asymmetrically around their shoulders, adding warmth and style in equal measure. Before you leave in the morning, grab a scarf or a shawl and toss it around yourself—or just pick up an all-in-one coat with the same look.
Styling hack: Any scarf in your collection will work here, but the Glamour team is especially tempted by tasseled options, which provide a bit more texture and plenty of extra movement. Fasten yours with a brooch for an extra-chic take.
5. Pendant necklaces
Pendant necklaces are one of spring’s biggest jewelry trends, so it’s only fitting that I’ve seen more than I can count this week. Minimalist, sculptural metal? Yep. Cheeky coin-pouch necklaces? All over the Coach show. Flapper-worthy tassels and liquid lariats? Everywhere. Perhaps the best part is that it’s a truly accessible look; you can pick up a necklace of your own for less than $20 on Amazon.
Styling hack: Use the picks below to turn low-key outfits into full-on ensembles. If your white tee and black pants feel a little blah, for example, throw on a pendant, and you’re suddenly a trendsetter.
6. All-black everything
It’s no secret that fashion people, especially those in New York, love wearing black. And yet so far this season, it’s undeniable that more of us than ever are opting for all-black looks. Their appeal is obvious: The shade is sleek, effortlessly cool, and—perhaps most importantly—pretty much stainproof. (Way more New York Fashion Week attendees take the subway than you might expect.) I suspect you already own enough black to try the look at home, but give your collection a refresh with these brand-new favorites.
Styling hack: Monochromatic outfits are exercises in texture. Keep your styling feeling fresh by breaking up the look with fuzzy cashmere scarves, rich leather loafers, or slick acetate sunglasses.
