The Oscars 2022 awards ceremony is upon us, so it's time to get your predictions ready as you head to your watch parties. Emphasis on that last part: In order to enjoy the show, you'll need to know how to watch the Oscars 2022.
The 94th Academy Awards will take place on Sunday, March 27 at 8 p.m. EDT. The ceremony returns to its usual home at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles after last year's reduced-capacity ceremony at the Los Angeles Union Station. The Live From E! Oscars red carpet and all the glitter and glam we've come to expect from the show should also be back in place.
Regina Hall, Wanda Sykes, and Amy Schumer will host, marking the first time the ceremony has had an emcee since 2018. It's also the first time we've seen multiple hosts since 2011.
Nominations were announced on Tuesday, February 8, and it's shaping up to be a historic evening. Not only is The Power of the Dog the most-nominated film of the evening (with 12), it's the first film directed by a woman to receive more than ten nominations. Jane Campion, the film's director, is the first woman to receive more than one Academy Award nomination for best director. Meanwhile, CODA is the first film starring a predominantly deaf cast to be nominated for best picture, and Drive My Car is the first Japanese film to be nominated for the same category.

How to watch the Oscars 2022 live
As with previous year's ceremonies, you can watch the Oscars live on ABC. For those without cable or access to live TV, there are also some live-streaming options for how to watch the Oscars live.
