Anderson has always been a fashion and beauty icon, but she's currently getting a new wave of recognition thanks to Y2K nostalgia and Hulu's Pam & Tommy, which started streaming last month. The show has caused some controversy because Anderson never signed off on it, but whether you're streaming or not, it's the perfect inspo to spice up your spring beauty looks.
Throughout the show Lily James, who plays Anderson, rocks tons of picture-perfect re-creations of the actor's looks, including thin eyebrows and bouncy blowouts. But the standout for sure is the signature Pammy updo: messy curls pilled high, tumbling tendrils, and piecey bangs. It's a little glam, a little grunge, and incredibly sexy—in short, everything that made Pam, Pam.
It's also incredibly easy to do, which is why the hashtag #pamelaandersonhair has gained more than 6.3 million views on TikTok. Even Kim Kardashian was inspired by Anderson, and re-created the messy updo for a recent appearance on the Ellen show—it seems Pam inspired Kim's outfit as well, as she was wearing a killer black latex dress.

TikTok is full of tutorials for Pamela Anderson hair, but most boil down to some version of this: Start with some messy curls in your hair, and pull them into a ponytail, leaving your bangs or two face-framing pieces out. Then loop your pony into a bun, and pin it in place, keeping some of the ends out. Go back and curl the ends, and messily pin them back into the bun. Then pull the bun apart to make it fluffy and messy. Finish the look by adding some volume to your bangs with a hot roller, curling iron, or blow-dryer. Spray liberally with hairspray and get ready to blast “Be My Lover” and dance the night away.
