The Casts of Friends and The Big Bang Theory Met Last Night, and It Was Epic! See the Photos


Our sitcom dreams were made last night when the casts of Friends (sans Matthew Perry, who is in London for a play) and The Big Bang Theory met for the first time. Could we be any more excited? Well, maybe just slightly more if Chandler Bing Perry had been in attendance. So what was the occasion that brought these two casts together? NBC's salute to directing icon, Jimmy Burrows, who recently celebrated his 1,000th episode behind the camera on the set of NBC's upcoming sitcom, Crowded (which stars Miranda Cosgrove). The celebratory special won't air until February 21, so we have another month until we see everyone reunited—but NBC will no doubt be teasing the reunion of Friends (as well as other Burrows-helmed sitcoms like Cheers and Will & Grace) in the weeks to come. But let's get back to that reunion from last night, shall we? Both The Big Bang Theory's Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco posted the same Instagram photo of the respective casts gathered around a large round table. Cuoco captioned her photo: "Ummmm NIGHT MADE. Can't breathe. Friends meets BBT. I died and went to heaven." Galecki went with a simpler caption: "And then this happened..."
