There are few people out there who love beauty like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. When asked about their beauty secrets, most models coyly insist the key to their glowing skin is drinking lots of water, but she's an open book. If you have the time, she'll happily rattle off every single product that touches her face, and why she loves it. Over the past two years, Huntington-Whitely has cemented her status as a true beauty expert by launching her website, Rose Inc.—an editorial and shopping platform focused on all things beauty—becoming the face of Hourglass Cosmetics, and landing an upcoming show on Quibi called About Face, in which she interviews beauty entrepreneurs.
Despite her love of glamour, Huntington-Whiteley is incredibly real. She's as quick to speak on her favorite ice cream as her favorite lipstick and is open about life as a working mom. She's also very introspective, especially in this new normal. “It's been a bizarre time and challenging and eye-opening in many ways, but such is life, I suppose,” she tells Glamour. “So I definitely have been spending a lot of time internally thinking about everything, and feeling very grateful for everything that I am fortunate enough to have.”
Below, for our latest installment of Your Fave's Faves, she shares the small things that have gotten her through quarantine, the beauty secret she swears by, and what she steals from her husband.

I just bought this clock called Hatch that I saw an ad for on Instagram. It lights up and wakes you up with a light and beautiful chirping birds or bells in the morning. I wanted to buy a bedside alarm clock so I could put my phone away from the side of my head. I find a lot of times I wake up in the morning and my phone is in my hand. Before I know it, I'm scrolling through emails, and that’s the first thing you end up doing every morning. So I would say that has been a good little recent purchase. It sets your sleep, and you can have a nighttime meditation with it.
I wish I were a meditation person. Listen, when I’ve done it, I’ve loved it, but I’m also one of those people who doesn’t just go to the gym and work out on my own. I need somebody to meet or hold me accountable for a time I’m going to be there and I can just do as I’m told. I spend so much of my day telling other people what to do—I'm a mum—so I just want to go and be told what to do without thinking about it. I was quite into yoga for a period of time, and we would always finish with savasana. I loved it, but I’m not the girl who wakes up in the morning and takes those 20 minutes to meditate. I take 20 extra minutes in bed.
My favorite thing that I’ve been obsessing about lately is the Hourglass Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara. I’m someone who loves to get eyelash extensions and obviously have not been able to since quarantine, and this makes up for it. It's unlike any mascara I’ve tried before. It gives you that instant lift, length, and definition that you get from eyelashes extensions. It literally wipes away with water, but it's completely smudge-proof throughout the day. It’s really incredible.
Hourglass also just launched the Ambient Lighting Blush in the At Night color as well, along with the lip oil in the same color. I would say these are like a really beautiful brick red color, not something I would immediately be drawn to putting on my cheeks, but it gives that sun-kissed, blushed sort of look, which I love this time of year. I’m also wearing the lip oil in the same color. They complement each other really, really nicely.
Where do I start? It depends on my mood. I love Italian—I love a pizza, I love pasta. I also love Japanese food. I like sushi. I actually love to go to restaurants. It's one of my favorite things to do with friends or to go out for the evening with my husband, Jason [Statham], so I really do enjoy eating! I would say I lean toward the pizzas and the pastas. I love traditional English food, the roast dinners, the pies, the stews, all of those things.
If I'm cooking, I love a traditional English roast dinner. I usually roast a chicken, which is really easy to do. Throw in some roast potatoes, and if I’m feeling fancy, I'll do all of the traditional trimmings that go along with a roast. I’ve lived in America going on, like, 16 years now, so I try to do a roast every few weeks for my family and for my friends. A few Americans have come and enjoyed my British cooking.

I love to use Slack to speak to the rest of my team. There is an app I use called Simple, because I intermittent-fast and I love that you can log everything you’re eating. It times your eating and it shifts your hours for intermittent fasting. It really helps hold you accountable for your hours and set you with reminders. It has a lot of content on fasting and on the benefits on it.
I’ve read two that seem really impactful to me lately. The first is a novel called Where the Crawdads Sing, which I was just so moved by. I haven’t been so moved by a book like that since perhaps Shantaram. It was truly like I just lost myself in that book and really connected to the main character so much. It was transformative. It took me away to a different place and takes you through nature—all this descriptive writing was just so beyond anything I’ve ever read before. So I loved that. I recently completed Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People About Race, which I bought earlier this year to read. It was eye-opening, impactful, and educational.
The last thing I bought was a silk pajama blouse from Totême. I bought it in white and black, but they have it in a navy and cream too. It’s pants and a shirt, but they're pajamas you can wear in the day. Or maybe they are pajamas and I’ve been wearing them in the day and no one's told me. They look like pajamas, but we're in quarantine so…
My husband definitely doesn’t steal my shampoo, so I never have to worry about that. Some of my girlfriends are always furious their husbands are using their expensive shampoo in the shower. He doesn’t steal much from me, but he copies me. He buys a lot of the same brands I buy. But from him, I steal his fragrance, which is Hermés Terre. Especially when he’s away, I'll go into his bathroom and wear his fragrance sometimes. Or when I’m traveling, I like to put it on my scarf. It’s really comforting to me. He’s worn it since our first date.
I love Love Island, but the U.K. version that is usually on every summer. It's about a bunch of Brits abroad in a house and they all get together. It's highly entertaining. I like The Bachelor every now and then if I can commit myself to it. I committed myself to the latest season once we started quarantine. Both Jason and I watched the whole thing, and by the end of the last episode, we were both like, “Never again.” You just commit so many hours of your life to it!

I wear leggings a lot. There’s one from Wardrobe NYC which have a zip on the inner ankle. I wear those all the time during the winter. And then The Row did a pair with very similar cut in a different fabric; it's like a scuba fabric. I wore those every single day through the winter. I ended up buying, like, a couple of pairs because they're so versatile and cool. They look good with heels or boots. When I'm running around with my son, they're perfect leggings that can take me to a meeting straight to a play class or playdate with him.
Ice cream for sure. It would be a toss-up between Ben and Jerry’s Half Baked and the dulce de leche from Häagen-Dazs. I like the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough from Ben and Jerry’s too.
I love to apply a little bit of my blush into the sockets of my eyes. I always find it really opens up my eyes. It incorporates the color from my cheeks and it adds to a more even, natural look across my face. It doesn’t just make it look like you have blush in one area. I like to run a little bit across the bridge of my nose as well. Not a lot; you want it to be nearly invisible. But just a little makes everything look so sun-kissed and glowy.
