As temperatures start to warm up, it's time to thinking about spring pedicure ideas. Spring is the start of sandal season, which means you'll want a pedicure that'll look great for all your picnics, park outings, and beyond. When it comes to pedicure trends, you'll see a lot of similarities in the hottest nail designs of the moment, including neutrals and pastels. After a long winter, you'll also want to give your feet some much needed TLC with massages and nourishing treatments.

“This spring, I’m seeing a strong focus on wellness and spa-level care,” says celebrity manicurist and JINsoon founder Jin Soon Choi. “Clients want pedicures that feel clean, restorative, and intentional.”

What pedicure colors are trending for spring 2026?

Less is more when it comes to pedicure nail colors this spring, but leave some room for subtle metallics or high-shine finishes to add just the right amount of pop. “Soft pastels are leading, shades like purple, blue, and hot pink feel fresh and seasonal without being overpowering,” says Choi. “Rose gold tones add a subtle metallic glow, while modern nudes like keep the look polished and versatile.”

How do I maintain a spring pedicure?

Your gorgeous pedicure is nothing without the right nail prep. “A long-lasting pedicure starts with proper preparation, not just polish,” says Choi. “Callus treatment, cuticle grooming, and consistent moisturizing are essential. When the foundation is done correctly, color naturally lasts longer.”

What are the best nail designs for spring pedicures?

Since there's a lot less real estate on your toenails, Choi recommends keeping designs simple and clean. “For toes, minimal and refined always look best,” says Choi. "I’m seeing a subtle influence from Korean nail trends: soft nude cat-eye finishes, pastel cloud effects using sponge techniques, alternating tonal colors, and light texture details. The key is keeping it clean and modern. Pedicures shouldn’t feel busy, they should feel thoughtful."

How to DIY a spring pedicure

If you're going doing an at-home pedicure, Choi recommends the following steps for long wear.

Dress up a classic white pedicure with a floral accent nail. A large abstract flower is easy to DIY, since you don't have to keep the shape perfect. “Use JINsoon Doux as a base and create a large, loose flower on the big toe with JINsoon Flirt,” says Choi. “Keep it bold and effortless, no intricate detailing needed.”

Leopard is one of the hottest prints of the moment, as shown by Hailey Bieber, who wore this pedicure nail design by manicurist Zola Ganzorigt. It goes with pretty much anything and is minimal enough to wear without overwhelming your toenails.

Want to DIY the easiest nail art ever? All you need is the spring nail color of your choice and a confetti polish topcoat. “Apply a pastel base and add a confetti detail like JINsoon Daisy on one accent toe or lightly on all toes for a playful effect.”

Barbie pink is making a big comeback this spring. “A vibrant pastel pink is always flattering and youthful,” says Choi. “It instantly refreshes the foot for warmer weather.”

When in doubt, you can't go wrong with a classic French tip. A clean square nail shape gives it a fresh look that feels appropriate for spring.

According to Choi, a pastel robin's egg blue “feels crisp and airy, clean and modern, and perfect for spring transitions.”

Want low-investment with high pay off? Using a metallic polish instantly adds a bit of flair with minimal work. “A metallic rose gold like JINsoon Spiffy stands on its own,” says Choi. “The metallic finish acts as the design—no additional art needed.”
