My salon blowout obsession was born out of one too many chemical straightening treatments that turned my naturally curly, voluminous hair into a dull and damaged mess that I couldn't handle on my own. As great as it felt to step out of the hairdresser's chair with fresh, bouncy curls each time, I quickly realized I needed to curb this financially irresponsible habit, and began looking for a blow-dryer brush to make styling easier at home.

Cue the T3 AireBrush Duo Blow Dry Brush. Launched in the fall of 2021, the hot tool rings in at $180 for a blow-dry unit with two brush attachments. The two-and-a-half-inch round brush is ideal for achieving ’90s-inspired bouncy blowouts, while the three-inch paddle brush gives you smooth, sleek strands—keratin-treatment style. I often gravitate toward the former, since I’m a sucker for flippy ends and lots of volume, though I get the appeal of a super-straight look.
