Here’s Why the FURemover Is Called a ‘Miracle Broom’ on TikTok

Nothing in your home will be safe from this rubber wonder.

I’ve bought many products this year that would have me singing from the rooftops—a leave-in conditioner, a holy grail moisturizer, a toy subscription for toddlers—but my single best purchase was a strip of rubber at the end of a yellow stick. It's called the FURemover and it's the consummate cleaner-upper.

Let's say you get past the name; you still may be surprised to find out that this genius device isn’t some new launch from Dyson or a hidden gem from a cool indie brand. No, this is a broom from a brand so generic it may as well have spontaneously sprung from the depths of Amazon’s Inland Empire fulfillment center.

The humble item isn’t on the verge of going viral, either. It already has, having amassed over 100,000 ratings—67,510 of which are five-star—on Amazon. These reviewers are my people. Some customers get right to the point: “I love this product more than words can describe,” says Heather. Other customers take you on a journey to cleaning salvation, like one reviewer who thought one of her dogs had a secret puppy she didn't know about because of the amount of fur that was being left behind from her vacuum: “I used the straight end to sort of bring the puppy-sized ball of fur to the top and the rake side to get it all together in a pile. It was AMAZING. I wish I had taken pics. I went to the next rug. Bam!!!! Another puppy. … This thing is a miracle worker.”

Much like this reviewer, I live with a dog—but add a shag rug and a toddler (not to mention my own head of hair that sheds constantly). There isn’t a day when I don’t have hair and debris all over my floor, and the only thing that keeps my place clean is this broom.

You see, vacuums leave hair behind, especially on wood floors. And between the dog and the shag rug, I have some very shedding home dwellers. My two-year-old enjoys dragging all the fuzz around the rest of the house, and if she doesn’t do the broadcasting, my husband and his wool socks do. But it’s our very powerful HVAC (which I am otherwise extremely grateful for) that takes the cake. It pools the so-called secret puppies into the little corners and crevices that our vacuum cannot get into, leaving me with the ol’ wet paper towel to clean up the corners trick that is less of a hack and more like a gross thing I have to do.

If you want to see this thing in action, the FURemover has amassed 1.3 billion (yes, with a B) views on TikTok. The videos and reviews regularly point out one very important item: You don’t need to be a pet owner to love the FURemover. The broom would work for any place where shedding is a constant. (Many of the reviewers are actually salon owners who swear by the FURemover for postchop cleanups.)

The reason I, and my tribe of FURemover reviewers, are so ecclesiastical about this broom is also its affordability. The FURemover is typically $17 but occasionally goes down to $12 or $13 around Amazon Prime Day(s). Like a lot of people who recently spent literal years at home, what I need for a clear head is a clean space. I need there to not be dust bunnies haunting my every step, and this broom makes it happen.
